Grady County Work Ethic Program

In an effort to better prepare students for successful and productive lives, work ethic and employability skills are included as a topic of study in Grady County Schools.  This web site is designed to assist students in evaluating their level of work ethic and employability skills.  Instructions for using this assessment are provided below.

  1. Enter the password in the block below and then point and click on the Submit button.  The password will be provided by your teacher.

  2.
  3. The opening screen should appear for the Employability Skills Assessment (ESA).  On this screen are drop-down boxes for you to enter whether you are male or female, your age, grade, school, paid work experience, and id number.  The id number should be the last four digits of your social security number unless instructed otherwise by your teacher.

  4.
  5. After all items on this screen are completed, click the Continue button.  A "Security Information" box might appear (depending on the settings for your computer software).  Click the Continue button on that box if it appears.

  6.
  7. Several questions will then be presented on your screen.  Answer each item honestly and carefully.  You will need to use the scroll bar to get to the questions at the bottom of the page.

  8.
  9. After all questions have been answered, click the SubmitAnswers button to move ahead.  A "Security Information" box might appear (depending on the settings for your computer software).  Click the Continue button on that box if it appears.

  10. If all questions were not answered, a message will notify you and provide an opportunity for you to go back and finish answering the questions.

  11.
  12. The final screen of the assessment will provide your scores for initiative, interpersonal skills, and being dependable.  Write these scores down if needed.  Then click Continue to go to a page with comments about your scores.  Click Home to return to The Work Ethic Site home page.
If needed, print this page to provide instructions as you continue with the online assessment.
